Hoezo in KINO

A deeply moving film about a woman’s profound tragedy, overwhelming grief and her resilience. The film follows a widow who, with her young son, moves to her late husband’s hometown in hopes of starting a new, only to face yet another tragedy. An exploration of the human spirit and a woman’s journey to find comfort through religion. With this film, Lee delivers another character-driven narrative that steers away from melodrama, thanks in no small part to the outstanding performance of lead actress Jeon Do-yeon, whose portrayal earned her the Best Actress award at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
